Hello! I’m Monica Alcantara, a biology student at the University of Valencia and participating in Youth Exchanges & Trainings Courses and has changed my life.
My first Youth Exchange was 2 years ago in a village in Serbia on Human Trafficking. It was an amazing experience: I had never imagined to visit Eastern countries, not only by the people from so many different countries (Turkey, Serbia, Italy, Greece, Bosnia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Poland and Spain) but also because of their each particular culture.
At the same time you can improve your English, learn about different topics and contribute with ideas to solve the social problem in question.
I have also participated in Pogradec, Albania (Environmental whatchdog Trainning course), in Brasov, Romania (Youth Exchange on Fly Dance Project) and Alicante (Spain) as support staff (Training Course, Euromed: challenges of the present to face the future )
Each one is more productive … The truth is that they are very different and would not stay with any particular. These experiences have helped me to acquire a strong social commitment nationally and internationally and continue to contribute to the world: “We are all one”
